The INTUITY AUDIX server provides powerful applications that let you create and respond to messages with any combination of voice, fax, text, and file attachments. For example, you can send an e-mail message with a voice message attached to add clarity to the communication.

The latest release of this server includes a package of e-business applications, some of which are:

• INTUITY Message Manager helps you organize and prioritize your messages in one mailbox, so you can more effectively manage your messages and communications.
• Internet Messaging lets you reach e-mail users worldwide via the Internet and reduce costs by transporting messages through existing, shared Internet facilities.
• INTUITY Fax lets you conveniently use a common set of services to manage both your voice and fax messages within the same password-protected mailbox.

You can access these INTUITY applications via a telephone user interface (TUI) or a visual desktop computer interface also called a graphical user interface (GUI) whichever is more convenient. Combined with the text-to-speech (TTS) feature, you have an effective mobility solution that lets you access messages from anywhere at any time.

To make the INTUITY AUDIX system a global solution and even easier to use, the server comes with a multilingual option for American English, Canadian French, Latin American Spanish, TTY/TDD for hearing-impaired users, and nine other languages.

Three INTUITY server models, including all feature sets and applications, provide cost-effective sizing to meet your specific requirements:

• MAP 5P is the smallest configuration, supporting up to 3,000 subscribers. It is great for a small location, operating alone or networked to a small number of other INTUITY AUDIX systems.
• MAP 40P supports up to 7,500 subscribers; however, it is designed to meet the needs of a variety of mid-sized operations. It can be configured for single- and multi-location organizations.
• MAP 100P is the largest model, supporting up to 10,000 subscribers. It is designed for the biggest single- or multi-location organizations.

The INTUITY AUDIX Multimedia Message Server helps protect your investment by supporting smooth and cost-effective growth as your traffic requirements increase beyond one system. For example, you can add up to 20 systems and locally network them together using Distributed Communication System (DCS) integration. DCS is a proprietary protocol that links multiple Avaya systems together to appear as one system for transparent, centralized messaging.
