The Avaya IP Softphone for Windows Mobile 5 makes real-time voice communications and Avaya Communication Manager features accessible from portable handheld devices.  Mobile employees roaming inside the building have the benefits of multiple call appearances, directory dialing, transfer and conference from an intuitive user interface on a WLAN-connected handheld device. This product operates on devices such as smartphones, PDAs, and handheld multifunction computers.

What's New With This Release
New version of IP Softphone for the Windows Mobile 5 operating system.  (Windows Mobile 5 superceded the Windows for Pocket PC operating system in 2005. ) This version of IP Softphone ports the features of IP Softphone for Pocket PC Release 2.3 to Windows Mobile 5 and adds an improved Graphical User Interface.  Like previous versions of IP Softphone for Pocket PC, it is available in English only.
